Many people think you need a English degree to teach English. That's not the case in Thailand. Thai schools are looking for college grads who are proficient in the English language.

Many English teachers in Thailand don't have an English degree, and instead hold a degree in a different field.

What's it like to teach in Thailand?

Well, for starters, it's awesome!

You'll be living in a part of the world that has some of the most delicious food you've ever tasted.

You'll be able to visit Bangkok and shop the world largest outdoor market, meet the locals with smiling faces, see the floating markets, experience the night life!

On the weekends, you be able to head to the islands and take in the sun at the beach.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can jump on a plane and fly to Kuala Lumpur for about $50 US dollars or Singapore for $125.

How about a weekend trip to Disneyland Hong Kong? Macau? The ancient temples shown in the movie Tomb Raider in Siem Reap, Cambodia?

Living and working in Thailand has all the benefits of travelling abroad and they're available to you, while you earn a salary teaching the students English.

  3. Amazing article. I really enjoyed reading this post and love all the images. It is true that actual life starts after collage. During collage and school students have not enough time to travel different places. Also, there was a lot of pressure of study. Also some student face miss behavior of school staff. Visit ESD School to know more.
